Bought a pair of these for myself and my husband. They look great and feel good. The sizing on them runs a little big, but they're not so loose as to cause blisters. The main problem is that the vents in the soles do pinch a bit. It's not awful, and I'm certain once my feet get their summer callouses I won't feel it at all, but if you don't have tough soles, these could be pretty uncomfortable.
I have bought other brands of this type of shoe but the LLBean shoe far out performs and feels great on! I wear them constantly... back to get another pair!
Throughout my life I have always had trouble with shoes, even sandals. I go through a painful breaking in period before I can be comfortable. BUT, these sandals are magic!! I have raced walked 3 miles in these and walked 18 holes several times. My feet feel wonderful at all times while wearing them. And they look good too. Great job, LLBean!!
I love these sandals!!! I went to Florida were the weather was hot. I walked in Disney World for a whole day. After that I went shopping round town for two weeks. I found these sandals to be comfortable and vented all day long. To me they are just as good a my sneakers. I usally need wide width in shoes/sneakers and found these to be very roomy even with inserts.
