These sandals seemed comfortable when I first tried them on. But after walking around a grocery store for only half an hour the drainage ports on the soles of the sandals caused blisters to form on the bottom of my feet. It hurt very badly to walk in them after a very short amount of time. I had to return them.
I was very excited to buy these sandals but Found the drainage pores in the sole of the sandal to be very uncomfortable. Wore them once and took them back. Couldn't even wear them for a whole day.
I LOVE the way this sandal looks and fits...the uppers are great! HOWEVER, the "drainage ports" (which are actually holes through the soles) are a terrific concept, but unfortunately, become extremely painful when worn for a lengthy period of time. My feet felt like they were being extruded through a garlic press. I eventually purchased clear gel insoles and it eliminated the discomfort. I now wear them everyday and they feel great.
These shoes are so very comfortable. They were great to put on and wear immediately and I haven't needed to break them in. My feet stayed cool during the hot day, but warm when the temperature dropped.
