I bought these for a trip to Florida. I like sandals w/support and these have support. They were uncomforable when I first wore them because of the ridges on the sole, but I got a insert and now they feel very comforable.
These shoes were just what I wanted so I ordered them soon after the catalog arrived. The color choices are good, they look great, and they're very comfortable.
I live in a remote area in Europe. Since breaking my wrist hiking and being diagnosed with early onset osteoporosis, summer 2007, I buy all my footware from L.L. Bean. I go for comfort, good traction and the security of knowing I've don't have to worry about my shoes or boots letting me down when I least expect it. The sandals fulfill all these criteria and they even look good enough to satisfy my street-cred-conscious French grandkids!
