I was undecided when I ordered these since a lot of the reviews said they run big. I have a narrow foot and wear a 7 1/2 - 8. I went with the 8 and it fits perfectly. I was also apprehensive about the style. I have tried on similar items from other manufacturers and they rubbed in different places on my foot. Not these. I like the fact that they come up high on the foot. It keeps them from slipping off. The padded back strap is a plus. I put them on and wore them for 12 hours. No break in required. I am very active and need a shoe that is comfortable and durable. Normally fit is a priority and not appearance. These have both. They are comfortable as well as attractive. These are great, everyday walking shoes. I wear these shoes to work and stand on my feet for over eight hours. Yes, my feet are tired and sore by the end of the day but it's not the shoes fault - these shoes are so comfortable and easy to wear and go with anything casual!
