I used to live in my Teva Sandals in the summer. I still enjoy wearing them but these Explorer Sandals are so much more comfortable and are now my favorite. The day they came my wife spotted them and ordered a pair for herself. They have good support and are surprisingly cool. Laces are elastic so no need to untie them. Highly recommended! I ordered the leather sandals.
Happy feet! My sensitive toes just love these sandals. They are the most comfortable thing I have had on my feet (other than sox and flipflops) in many a year, Hope you continue to carry these and maybe also a model which would be practical in in winter weather.
Best all around shoe I have ever purchased from LLBean..so comfortable, I could walk, and I sometimes do, for miles and hours in these without any discomfort...I will wear these until they fall apart, and will order another pair...

I wanted some everyday versatile sandals that wouldn't slide off my feet. I also wanted something I could wear kayaking. My catalog arrived in a timely manner and, after reading the reviews, I ordered a pair of Explorer sandals. I love them! I have worn them to the garden, kayaking, to Shakespeare on the Green and to the grocery store. Completely comfortable, perfect fit, and secure. They dry very quickly and are great for paddling. Best pair of sandals I've had in 10 years!
