I love shoes, but I hate shoes that hurt my feet so I am usually pretty cautious about buying shoes and pretty picky when I do buy a pair. So let me tell you about these shoes...These sandals are so comfortable, there wasn't even a breaking in period. I put them on and they fit perfect (I wear a 61/2B), not too long, not too wide, they just folded around my foot and stayed that way with every step. They are my new favorite shoes. I gave them 5 stars and I rarely do a review let alone give 5 stars. Hope this helps!
I have Keens, but these are my go-to sandals when I know I'll be hiking in fairly rough terrain. I am a geocacher, and we cachers get "out there." I usually wear a 7B (medium) and that is what I ordered. They are perfect. The sole has great traction. I can wear them all day. I love them so much that I ordered a pair in webbing, which I also love.
I purchased these for a trip to the Oregon Coast, which included city walking, beach walking and hiking on lava at Mt St. Helens. I was hesitant at first but after the lava hike. I was excited. They are not billed as a heavy duty hiking shoe but they performed excellently in comfort and durability even after 2 miles of rough lava hiking. These were the only shoe I wore. Dried quickly after a wade in the ocean, no worries about getting leather wet. I now wear them everywhere.
I have been waiting all day for these to come! The wait was well worth it! I have been wearing them for close to 1 1/2 hours. The fit was good right out of the box. They are light weight but very good foot coverage. Easy to get on. Good support. I had on tennis shoes all day and they were hot and heavy, not these. I live on a lake and I can get these wet and still have traction. Couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day gift!
