Excellent! I was worried about the leather and the weight, however LLBean has done it again - producing a comfortable awesome product. Would recommend!
I like these sandals, although they are a bit snug over the instep. I wear them to walk my dog over all types of terrain, and the grippy sole is nice. Maybe just a little more cushioning under the heel would be good for the times we are on asphalt.

these sandals have been great from the get/go! took them out of the box, put them on, and went on a 2-mile walk without any rubbing or aching or hurting of any kind! my feet are very sensitive as a result of damage from a medication i was on, but i read all the reviews, including the ones written by others with feet problems, and i decided to give it a go because of bean's great reputation and the wonderful quality of an llbean wool cardigan i have had for years and love. these sandals have lived up to bean quality. i highly recommend them to anyone who wants a comfortable, nice-looking, durable, cool sandal in wet or dry conditions!

I love the sandals. They fit well (true to size) and are very attractive and comfortable for being out and about. For a long hike, I would probably wear my more supportive heavy duty sneakers, but these sandals are cool and great for shopping and shorter walks. I look forward to trying them in the water.
