ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I am vacationing soon in Italy and I wanted a comfortable, sturdy pair of sandals. I decided to try Bean's Explorer Sandals in leather. They have exceeded my expectations in comfort and support, and they were so reasonably priced in comparison with some of the other sandal brands of similar type. I am impressed with the features and the quality. I especially like the "drain holes" that let water out under wet conditions. I would certainly recommend these to others.
The sandals were well made, but I could not wear them because I have a high arch. From the illustation, I thought that the sandal would be adjustable, but it is not. It is too bad, because otherwise, they were great.
Yes, they were comfortable first time out of the box - as long as I was wearing socks! But barefoot, the drainage holes in the foot-bed are very uncomfortable and annoying. Also superfluous.
