I bought these two years ago and wore them relentlessly the first summer. The performed wonderfully even though I had to get used to the idea of water squishing up from the bottom when I stepped in a puddle.
The second summer they started to show wear, the soles were getting thin in the heel and the sides where the heel strap anchors was begining to pull loose and overall they looked pretty scruffy.
So no I save these for the garden. However, I was anticipating a sandal that could be more durable than only 2 years.

I was looking for a good sport shoe about a year ago and came across this LL Bean shoe in the catalog. I knew that I could trust Bean, so I got a pair and have been very pleased with them. Well, my wife looked them over, asked me about my opinion, tried them on (even though they were too large for her) and announced that she must have a pair. So that made finding the perfect holiday gift easy this year. Needless to say, she is thrilled with them and can not wait to hit the hiking trials. Thanks LL Bean, you made another happy holiday!
I bought my sandals for a water aerobics class, love them, they are comfortable, serve their purpose and look good. Sadly it is winter and I cannot wear them to go outside, but looking forward to the winter ending and I am sure I will enjoy them more.
