From the minute I put them on, they felt so comfortable and cool. I bought a half size smaller than the tennis shoes I wear and they fit perfectly. They're great for wearing in the yard, shopping, playing by the water. I will definitely get another pair next summer.
I have one foot that is 1/2 larger than the other...go figure so when I did my walking I was miserable...I went to a foot doctor who fit me in $100 shoes and they still didn't do the trick BUT these shoes from LL Bean are absolutely the very best...put a thin pair of socks on, pull them on and pull the elastic and hook it and voila what a great pair of walking shoes for only 1/2 the price. I saw one of our nurses wearing these sandals at school so I decided to try them. They are extremely comfortable! They go with everything and I can wear them to work, running errands and for everyday use. I wear an 11 and the size is right on. I wish there were many other colors, maybe a darker brown leather or black.
