I have to be completely honest...I love these shoes. They are so comfortable that I find myself planning what I am going to wear for the day based on what will match the shoes! They are perfectly true to size and perfectly suited to so many activities. I would recommend these shoes to anyone. I just wish they came in more colors.
These combine the best qualities of sandals and mesh sneakers! They are light and airy like sandals, but have more coverage and support, coming up high on the foot and staying put. Attractive style and nice leather. The soles aren't overly thick but are fairly cushy. As other reviews have mentioned, the footbed doesn't feel smooth but has been OK so far on my non-sensitive feet for the short time I've tried them indoors. I can see them bothering those with tender feet, though, as I am conscious of the texture. Totally comfy except for that. If you hold the sandals to the light, you can see the holes in the soles, so I'm wondering if water will come through, but they are explorers after all. I'm sometimes between sizes in length, ordered the larger and they don't slide around on my feet. Sizing is good, but for those who have feet that tend to hang off the back of sandals, order large enough because the ridge at the back of the footbed is very firm and would hurt if your foot was on top of it. It's otherwise undetectable, and the back strap is cushioned and comfortable. The light taupe is trimmed in very subtle pink which I love. A bit expensive but the name brand sporty sandals are more so. I intend to wear them inside the house for a few more days to be sure the textured footbed doesn't start to bother me. I've had my eyes on these for a while for next summer's travels and expect they'll be tops.
The sandals seemed a little narrow as I have a wide foot. I plan on sending them back for a half size larger to see if that helps, because the sandal is comfortable when on. They are a great color that will go with most everything as well.
