I looked at a number of water shoes before I chose the Explorer Leather Sandals. The Explorers had the features I was looking for at the right price. The shoes are very well made, lightweight and fit extremely well, despite the fact that I have a somewhat narrow foot. Unlike some other reviewers, I find the explorers quite easy to put on and take off. I got the Explorers to use for walking on the beach and around town during an annual vacation in South Carolina. So far, so good.

I've hardly taken them off since they arrived 2 weeks ago. Excellent quality, good looking, plenty of foot protection and ventilation too. Good support and cushioning, light wieght as well.
These were more comfortable than KEEN sandal I tried on. Look and feel good, but I just got them so I don't know how they will stand the test of time. More protection than my old Teva sandals which lasted years.
