These shoes fit well and wear well. I have worn them while fishing on my boat and fishing in the surf. The shoes do get shell particles in them when I wade in the surf. A little more mess instead of holes may help this. Of course it would be hard to find any shoes that can hold up to a pounding surf with a beach full of shell particles.
These shoes are easy to clean with a garden hose and dry reasonably quickly.
I've had these shoes since 8/11. Takes a long time to dry for a watershoe. Not much support for walking any distance. OK for limited use. The sandle runs large in L & W. I'll try a different brand or type next time.

I bought these sandals for my disabled 19-year old son, who can manage to wiggle out of every sandal we put on him. He is unable to wiggle out of these, they remain on, no matter how hard he tries plus they give him a bit of support (not a lot, it's a sandal, after all). I highly recommend these since they're comfortable, well-made, good looking and great value.

When I received my sandals I immediately put them on and in the wink of an eye I was back in my teenage years on the west coast and no joint paint, my first sandals were the original "tire tread" type that were and I think still only available on the west coast. My new sandals are comfortable beyond belief, and for someone who has had two total knee and one total hip replacement with one more hip to go comfort in footwear is often hard to come by. These sandals are the only ones I will ever wear again. I am an expert on pain from years of it, but now I'm able to keep up with my wife when we go shopping and that's no easy task. I would reccomend these to anyone.
