For my flat feet, this sandal just didn't provide enough arch support (sounds contradictory, I know). The insole on this sandal is very flat, and with no muscle tone in my flat feet, the absence of a higher arch to cushion my foot's arch made the sandals uncomfortable. Too bad, because they appeared well constructed, rugged and a good value at $59.
This is a Christmas gift for my husband. He now owns a pair similar made by Keen and I am hoping he will like these as much as he enjoys his present sandals. He wears them all year around as they look great with socks in the cooler weather. Ask me after 12/25/10 for his reaction and satisfaction.
This is my second pair (the first is still fine, but I wanted the second before they went out of production). Very comfortable from the first day. Wear them in the ocean, hiking, wherever. These are only shoes I wear in the tropics.
Love the styling and light weight. One previous review stated these are snug and others said not. I wear a 10 EEE and bought the 10s. I can get them on, but it's a chore. Forget about socks. They don't make a sock thin enough.
