I purchased these sandals to wear on an extended trip to Africa. First, I wanted shoes that I could get on and off easily in airports. Secondly, I wanted something that would hold up to wet weather and various terrain, and finally (and most importantly) shoes that were comfortable. I found the drain port in the soles to be a great help - one of my fellow workers got blisters due to water after we waded a creek ( he was wearing standard Tevas) while my feet dried quickly without issue. The sandals are very comfortable and I ended up wearing them whenever I could. The fit is good, they held up well ( two trips so far) and they are good value. The only question is durability...

I was real unsure if I really wanted sandles. Lack of support and the price I just wasn't sure. BUt I did. AND WOW!! I wear them a lot more thean I ever thought I would they are great and I get good support from them (even with bad knee and back)

My husband was concerned the leather would be too hard and uncomfortable but he was wrong. He wore them the whole day without any discomfort. We am very pleased.

I rarely take these off of my feet over the summer. They are cool, light and very comfortable. I've had mine 3 summers and am definitely getting a second pair next year!
