These semi-enclosed sandals are comfortable around town and even for light duty on the trail. I have worn them in the water, and they held up nicely. The only thing I cannot recommend them for is on terrain where small bits of rock are likely to get in them, because it's going to stay there until you take the shoe off. I bought these to take to Hawaii. I wore them on some beaches where the ground was covered in loose, rough material, not fine sand. Obviously that stuff is going to get into sandals, but the extra material of these shoes makes it unlikely that you can just shake it out easily. Some of the black sand from those beaches also went down through the drain holes in the soles and ended up inside the soles, so now I can use the shoes as maracas. :)
Good design and comfortable. Good for hiking when you are going to get wet. provides good support and it is nice that water can drain through the sole. My only issue is that one foot is larger than the other so that i needed to get size 14 so my toes on one foot would not be pinched. it would be better if the sandals had an adjustable strap around the heel to customize the fit a bit. .

The sandals arrived within a week. The quality is excellent and the size is accurate. These sandals are SO comfortable! I've already worn them several times. This is a great-looking sandal, well made with a perfect fit, and they're priced right. They made me feel like Superman the instant I put them on. I intend to put them to good use in all the outdoor activities I enjoy, and I may even wear them to church, if I ever attend.
