I have a very standard foot size: 8 1/2 D and generally have no problem fitting into shoes of that size. Sandals in particular are always an easy fit. So I was disappointed at how badly these sandals fit. They were so narrow that it was hard to get a foot into them, and they pinched the outsides of my feet. At the same time, they were much too long -- at least a half size and maybe a full size. There was a good inch between my big toe and the front of the sandal. I've returned the order for a refund.
Haven't had chance to wear outdoors yet, here in Oklahoma we have had rain & snow for weeks on end. Have worn around the house - fit is just wright, normally wear a men's 8, but ordered 7 1/2 since I will be wearing without socks - fit is just what I wanted. They look very good, are well made & I love the color. Arch support is good. Would highly recomment
These sandals are so comfortable that I've even worn them with inappropriate clothes -- just like going barefoot (with support and sole protection). They fit the San Francisco life style, and are of obvious quality and thoughtful design.
The size is perfect! Like a glove (I ordered my exact size). I wear them all the time - it's Winter and I live on a boat in Northern Calif. My feet are warmer than my fully enclosed Keen shoes, using the same socks.
