My guy likes these because they are cool without being sandals. He is happy because they are comfortable, look like sneakers and don't show his toes. The color he chose is very understated and dark, and he likes that since he doesn't like flashy shoes. They look very good with the long supplex shorts, a t- shirt and the maya print tropic shirt.
These sandles are one of the most comfortable pair of footware I've ever placed on my my feet. I wore them while on vacation walking through air- ports, carrying a carryon case, you name it, all this for a 75 year old man who basically had shied away from wearing sandals before I purchased these.
