These sandals look great, but the sole has slats that allow water to go through shoe but pinch your soles...and after awhile are so uncomfortable you don't wear them. LL Bean, have your mfgr. eliminae this feature and you'll have a five (5 ) star item.
I bought these shoes just before leaving for a 1500 mile Pilgrimage in France and Spain. I Have been walking now for 3 weeks at an average of 30 miles per day and althoug these were bought to be worn after the boots where taken off at night, I have to admit that about half the time I am wearing them for the actual walking. They are confortable, your feet feels safe and protected and the ventilation is unbeleavable. When I get home, I will certainly buy another pair as spare.
