The shoes are cleverly designed with the webing to keep rocks out. However, the slats in the bottom (which is a good idea for airflow) make your foot squeeze into them and pinch.
Bought them for a trip and wore them most of the time. Light, comfortable and seem to be well made. Foot needs a little time to adjust to the vents on the sole.
