Bought this same jacket for two of my grandsons. The lining in the jacket is sooo soft and warm. Both grandsons love their jackets! Too early to say how they will last, but if it is as long as the other items I have purchased from LLBean, the parents will be handing these jackets down to their siblings.
My grandson will not wear his winter coat....but this is a sweatshirt. He lives in NC by the shore, and does not need a heavy coat but needs something heavier than a regular sweatshirt. This fills the bill. Thanks for a warm jacket that a 3-1/2 year old will wear--that looks like a sweatshirt!
This sweater is so soft and cozy for my son. We put it on him where ever we go. Even though its thick, we still place it under his winter coat for double protection from the cold. In New England you just don't know how cold or how hot its going to be. If it gets warm out then we remove the coat and he is fine with this sweater.. Great quality, have washed it and didn't shrink.
My three year old loves his hoodie. He request the "red fuzzy one" whenever we go out and it's chilly. Being in Austin, TX we never get too cold and this provides the right amount of warmth without getting to heavy or cumbersome while playing.
The sizing for the toddler sizes are great. I can not say the same for the infant sizes. I ordered one for his sister in the 12 to 18 month size and it is huge on her. It might even fit her through next winter.
