ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable
We now have four of these, having bought the first one about four years ago. It is now on its third toddler and holding up great. It is a little on the pricey side, but still great value for money considering its durability. Like virtually all of LL Bean's toddler clothing, order a size up for best fit (a result of not have a 18-24 month size as an option).
We have some cool New England nights and love to spend as much time on our deck as possible. This Camp Hoodie is perfect for our toddler - the soft lining keeps him warm without the hassle of a jacket. We are constantly washing it and will be purchasing at least one more before the Fall arrives!
Directions say wash cold, tumble low, but who wants to worry about that with kids stuff? Washed this warm, tumbled dried regular, came out perfect. Really like that the furry-fleece lines the vest area and doesn't go all the way down the sleeves. This'll keep her core warm without extra bulk, sleeves are lined with soft jersey instead. Another really great product!
It's a great hoodie jacket. Thicket and softest jacket on the market. My son hates wearing a hat, and this warm and thick fleece lined hoodie is convenient.
It runs a bit small maybe because of the thickness. If you want to put this on your kid as an outer jacket, I recommend to size up so that there'll be enough space for layering.
I like it so much that now I'm thinking about buying one for myself in adult size! I'd buy one again for my son next year too.
