This coat is great for chilly fall days, as long as you can layer a shirt that tucks in underneath. Otherwise, it will be exposing your child's back, as they are quite short, only falling at the hip. My daughter was wearing the 3T when she was less than 2 years old, and it still landed just past the top of her pants. (We tried the 2T first, which was a great fit everywhere else, just not long enought). Because we had to order such a large size, the sleezes were super-long! It would be PERFECT, if just made a little longer.
This is by far the softest children's sweatshirt I have ever felt! We received this as a gift for our son and he is so happy when he wears it. Love the super soft lining. The only downside is that the hood is quite large in my opinion. Other than that, another great item from LL Bean that is sure to last for many years to come! Thank you!
I love this hoodie for kids. I use it in the cool weather, and then for them to wear in their carseats in winter so we don't have to strap them in with big bulky coats on.
I got the brown one for my son and it still looks new after a whole year of use, so my daughter will be getting it next.
I ordered this hoodie in sail orange for my almost four year old grandson. I had read all the reviews about it being soft & warm, but when the hoodie arrived, it exceeded all my expectations. The 4T was a perfect fit; and the fur fleece lining is like no other I have seen. Both my grandson & son loved it. Great little sweatshirt!
