I had gotten this item in a smaller size and saw that my grandson and his Mother chose it to wear whenever it was chilly outside. The fleece inside makes it a cozy-warm choice. The first one I got was brown but I thought a brighter color would be better because my grandson likes to run. The red makes him easier to spot. It is easy to wash and comes out like new after each wash.
My 11 year old grabs this jacket first and then decides what else he needs to add depending on the temps. He wears it all day at school as an extra layer and then under his larger coat outside as needed. It is soft inside and out, true to size, and has washed very well with no shrinkage. I am very happy with this purchase!
Received one as a gift for my baby; since then we've bought them in three more sizes. These are so soft and warm, wash well, and are thin enough to safely buckle into a carseat! Yay!
