Material is beautiful and soft. Styled well. It is warm and lightweight. The colar rubs my neck and bothers me. I would much prefer a conventional collar. Don't like net for inside pocket material.
I have several different Bean fleece jackets and this one is by far the warmest. For me the fit is good and close to my body. There is just enough stretch to give the jacket a cozy feel. The "soft shell" shoulders and sides allow dirt to just brush off. The rest of the fleece has a sweater like texture which is VERY soft. The only thing I would like to see changed is the zipper pulls. They are simply a looped and tied cord which seems a bit "cheesy" for such a nice jacket. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities.
It's great by itself, but it goes very nicely under my ski jacket shells. I like warmth w/o bulk, so this fit the bill nicely. Some reviews claimed it ran small, but I was happy to find that wasn't the case for me, I ordered my usual size. The price is right too. Bravo!
This jacket is lightweight, but very warm. The fit is good, not too tight or too baggy. The stiffness of the under-zipper lining was annoying at first, but it has softened down.
