I bought this jacket for winter biking and wore it yesterday. It was great. I bought the red for visibility on the road and I'm told it is doing the job. The fleece cuff keeps the wind from blowing up my sleeve. The collar snugs against my neck without being tight. The jacket is lightweight and flexible but does the job of blocking the wind and keeping me warm without making me overheated.
Windproof at the top of Blood Mountain in a blizzard. This fleece outperforms other brands and well worth the $$$. Sizes run small. Order up if in doubt.
I just got this and wore it to Pt Reyes Nat'l Seashore yesterday. It is usually cool and windy there. I am a birder and we spend a lot of time standing around looking for or looking at birds and it can be really cold when you're not moving. This jacket is excellent! It fit true to size, blocked the wind, was thin, and SO comfortable. It was like an old friend the moment I put it on. This jacket is going to replace some other fleece jackets and sweatshirts I have worn in the past that do nothing for stopping the wind. I bought the black/black. I wish they made it in more 'outdoor friendly' colors - dark tan, or forest green, for instance; camouflage when birding is GOOD! I say: GET IT!!
My husband bought this jacket for me for my birthday. I love it. It is very comfortible yet stylish. It is also surprisingly windproof. This is the perfect jacket for the fall months when you aren't ready for a winter coat but a sweatshirt isn't enough. I got a small (my usual size) and it fits perfectly
