fits as described, great windbreaker and fleece is very warm. jacket is breathable and you don't overheat. Long, long time L.L. Bean shopper and this is a great product!
I love this jacket. I've worn it four times outside for many hours of x-country skiing and sledding. It's lightweight, durable so far (hasn't ripped yet on the ice I've fallen on) and very warm. Best of all it does what it claims-it blocks wind. Mostly I've worn it in temps 25-33 F with up to 10 mph winds. No need for any extra layers on top (good bye bulky down coat) and layers great with long underwear and/or turtlenecks underneath. And I've even worn it out and about to run errands such as the grocery store so that I won't overheat from a coat inside the car or store but enough to keep me warm outdoors.
I adore this jacket and plan to buy one every season. I walk 30 minutes to and from my gym every day, even on bitterly cold winter mornings--and it totally keeps me warm. I like that it's so lightweight. My only small complaint is that it really attracts cat hair! Other than that, it is one of the best investments in clothes that I've ever made. I highly recommend this jacket.
I love this jacket, the best of everything in a jacket, no bulk, warmth, love to have the lower hem in the back for bending and lifting the kids, water / wind proof. My only SMALL complaint, would be it tends to collect link and I bought the black one to be more versatile. I love the machine washability too!!
