I bought this coat in november and couldnt be happier, The winter this year in NY were averaging 0-10 degrees and this coat was great!! pockets could use a fleece lining but all and all very good. thanks bean, keep up the good work!!!
I received this jacket in December for a Christmas present. I have been wearing it quite often since our weather this year has been colder than normal. The jacket is really warm and it does a great job at stopping the wind. I am not a big person and the sleeves seem to be quite snug. It would be nice if they were a little looser. There is no way to keep your hands warm when using the pockets. The inside mesh material lets all of the cold air in. To remedy this situation, I purchased some black fleece from a fabric store and cut two pieces the same size as the meash lining. The fleece was then hand sewn to the inside of each pocket. Now these pockets are toasty warm. It seems that paying as much as I did for this jacket it should have some quality extras. For example there is no inside pocket for a cell phone and there is no ribbing around the cuffs. I still like the jacket and it is especially warm when used for layering.
