My husband loved it, put it on and, stated swing his arms, like he was swing his golf clubs. "Said this will work well on the golf course, warmth, with out bulk". I didn't buy it for golfing, but I'm sure he will wear it there as well as when we go out.
Used for winter mountaineering. Great warmth, & wind protection. Jacket is long enough so it doesn't ride up under a packs waist belt. Only wish it had pit zips like the old Bean fleece jacket , I replaced it with
This is a tremendous Ascent Polartec Fleece Jacket, that I every brought. The fleece jacket keeps me very warm during cold and windy days, especially during winter time.
This would be a great jacket if it weren't for the strange cut. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the shoulder seams are not dropped, and because of the stiffness of the fabric they stick out like a 1980's padded shoulder jacket. It's really odd looking. The medium size is Bean's typical: tiny neck, huge chest, tight waist, gorilla arms. Who has these dimensions?? Other than that it's great: warm enough alone in 40 degrees and a light wind; coupled with the Ascent Jacket it's good in any weather, and still breathes well. The blue color is really vibrant and attractive.
