Love the versatility of this coat. Looks more stylish that some of the boxy coats I've tried. I agree that it runs small. I had to order the petite medium because the petite small was too tight across the back and shoulders. Normally an LL Bean small size fits me with room to spare.
The coat is great, warm, and breaks the wind. I put a hoodie under it the other day to go to yoga and was sweating by the time I went 5 blocks in 40 mile an hour wind and 34 degree weather. Couldn't feel the cold except on my face that was exposed. Nice! Only draw back is the zipper. It sticks so it is slow to get the jacket zipped up. It is a long coat, so it has the ability to unzip from the bottom, so you can sit, and this function also sometimes sticks. I wouldn't not buy it because of that, just know it is there. Also, I travel, and this jacket packed up great and small in the front pocket of my suitcase. Again nice feature!
This could be a nice functional coat, but it has difficult/inadequate zippers on both pieces. When I tried on the inner jacket, I got stuck in it for about 1/2 hour before I could get it unzipped again. Not worth the risk.
Love the coat but order a size larger than you normally would. Others have said this and I ordered a large since sometimes I can wear a "small" large but I will have to send this back for an extra large to wear it over anything that has some bulk. It is warm, comfortable, and I know I will get years of enjoyment out of it.
