I am currently wearing the coat with the liner, since it's still cold outside, but it will make a great spring coat without the liner. With the hood, it's great for damp rainy weather. The jacket liner will be good when a shorter version of the coat is necessary.
I love this coat; it's my second try as the sizing runs small. Very versatile and attractive. Definitely lives up to the quality I rely on L.L. Bean for.
Love this coat. The way the weather has been changing from cold and snowy to warm and rainy, I know with this coat I am always prepared for whatever mother nature throws at me during the day.
I purchased this coat online while it was on sale recently, it looked great in the pictures and I read the other reviews so I was up for giving it a chance. Well what they say about the zipper is right, it sticks, one b/c the construction materials are poor and two because of the length of the jacket. I am 5"3" and purchased a small and it was too big and the styling was boxy and unflattering (both my husband and brother agreed) so now it is packed up and ready to be sent back.
