I've worn this coat a couple of times, and I'm thinking of returning it for 3 reasons: 1. It's not warm enough for my purposes (this was misleading in the description). 2. The zipper is very hard to use 3. It's tight around the shoulders. I'd read other reviews about this, and ordered up a size; the sleeves are a bit long for this reason, but it's still a bit tight in the shoulders.
as the other reviews have stated---the ZIPPER does not work, properly. I ordered this coat because I am traveling to Italy in March--and it will be 40-50 degrees. This coat is perfect for walking around in Italy and I will keep it. It is unfortunate, however to pay this much money and have the zipper not work. I am hoping that the inside can be held together with the outside layer by the four snaps around the edges....
i ordered this coat because it seemed like it would be perfect. a three season coat for a new englander. well, i took it out of the package and was concerned by the thinness of it. it did not feel three season. the fit was a bit too baggy for my taste. i took out the inner lining. that was my favorite part. very cute little jacket, with a quilted pattern. needless to say, i tried the outer shell with out the lining to see how it fit and it is just too big without the inside lining, which is why i do not consider this a three season coat, at all. i returned it. i did put the coat on and walk around the block to test for warmth, to decide whether or not to keep it. it felt sort of warm. so if you want a coat that is sort of warm, that you can wear in the winter and use the inside lining, with no shape or style to it...this just may be the right coat for you. unfortunately, i work in education and am on a budget and returned the coat...just didn't love it.
p.s. and YES, the ZIPPER STICKS and was a major pain just taking it off and on.
This coat would probably be OK if you were using it only over lightweight garments. I did order a size larger, as suggested by reviews, but found the sleeves too tight to wear over a sweater. After several attempts with the zipper, I gave up. I was disappointed and will have to send it back.
