Great coat, well made, stylish. Even though my daughter adores the coat, I still say I wouldn't think it should be rated for the low temps for which it's rated. I know if I were wearing it, I'd be COLD! But, I'm a freeze baby. We will keep it. Customer service was amazing, as always. I couldn't find where to tighten the waist drawstring and used on-line chat. They directed me to the pocket (great idea, btw) and how to tighten. Thank you so much, LLBean. You are a WONDERFUL company.
I normally purchase the Katahdin Parka for my daughter, but this year I chose the Wildcat 3-in-1 Parka. This coat is really nice. These jackets are tough wearing, they clean up nicely in the wash and the flexibility of this system is wonderful. Highly recommend as an all-season option.
Good value. My 7 year old daughter loves the pink one and she is looking forward to wearing the fleece and jacket separately in the spring. The hood is on the thin side but it can be folded in as well.
