We like the coat, but had to return it for a larger size. We measured my son the first time but still bought one too small. We like the coat now that we have the right size. Especially the fact that it is 3 coats in one.
I have two of these for my daughters, and we have been very happy with them. Nice length to them, and the colors are vibrant. Easy zip in/ zip out layers.
My growing son needed a jacket (even in sunny CA) suddenly this winter - this one fit the bill. Good looks and good quality. I think a bit over-priced, but LLBean clothes can be passed down to my younger kids as well. The jacket holds up well to wind, wet, and snow.
