This is the second Wildcat Parka we have purchased. My ten year old son asked for the same jacket he has had for the past 2 years-he just needed a bigger size. We have not had any problem with the inside layer coming out when he takes the coat off-as I have read in other reviews. It does have snaps inside the sleeve that hold it in place-and that has seemed to do the trick. It is warm and comfortable. It washes beautifully. His old coat still looks brand new-wish I had someone to hand it down to!! I would highly recommend this coat to anyone.
I bought this jacket for my son for his 10th birthday and he loved the jacket.He says that it's perfect for when he's riding his skate board and also for bike riding because it's not to tight or to loose it's just right.He loves the fact that he can take the fleece liner out of the jacket if he gets to hot.It's 3 jackets in 1 and that's the best idea LL Bean could have come up with for an active kid like him and others.Great jacket for the cold weather cause it really keeps him warm even on snowy days.Yes I would recommend the Wildcat Parka!
This is the second one I have purchased in 3 yrs!! My second daughter is currently wearing the first one (which is still in incredible condition-wash after wash). I highly recommend this jacket to families who pass coats down and want the warmth and convenience of 3 jackets in 1.
LL Bean quality at a reasonable price! This coat is terrific - my son is wearing the fleece liner as a jacket now, until the snow flies and we're ready for the shell, too. Excellent quality, warm, versatile, looks great...perfect kids parka!
