I love this jacket. It looks SO good on my son. My daughter also has one in pink. The only thing that I have alittle problem with is I wish the inside jacket sleeves were more secure to the outside jacket sleeves. It's not too bad of a problem though. But this jacket is very cool looking. Love it!
I ordered the coat partially based on the reviews. I was very disappointed when it arrived. It looked like a shell of a jacket. It felt like an early fall jacket. There is no way I would send my son out in the snow in it.
We love the way the Wildcat Parka looks, and the shell is terrific. However, my 8 year-old son had a really hard time getting the coat on (and off) with the inner fleece zipped in. His hands got stuck on the fleece cuffs, and he couldn't use the parka independently. The inner drawcord is well above the hem of the fleece, which means we often had a wet fleece. We had the same issue at the handcuffs, even with the velcro wrist straps firmly fastnened. I think the Wildcat Parka is great if you don't do winter sports and your kid doesn't roll around on the ground like mine :) We have had Katahdin Parka's for the previous 6 winters, and they seem to be a better match for us. Overall, the parka is high-quality and we love LL Bean.
What a wonderful parka! I would highly recommend this parka to enyone looking for a well-made, durable, quality jacket. My 3 year old loves this parka, as it is very warm and not too bulky. I will definately be purchasing another one when he outgrows this jacket.
