I bought this two year ago for my son and held up well for a boy for two seasons. I bought it again and, unless he grows too much, will get at least two seasons out of it. Durable, warm and good for all weather. Bought one for my younger daughter also.
Well, it is a great jacket, however it in no way corresponds to any traditional sizing guideline. I had read that it ran small so I ordered a 14-16 for a son who is usually 12-14 and it really appears to be more of a 10-12. It was on sale for a great price and wasn't even available in a 16-18 so I knew it was a gamble. I will have to return it for some other lucky shopper.
Bought this for 11 yr old son for next year-purchased one size larger. However, it fits perfectly now. This jacket runs 1-2 sizes small. The larger size was sold out so I had to return it
we needed a new jacket in a hurry when my son's zipper broke and it didn't make sense to repair a jacket that was almost too small. Jacket came in 2 days (without paying expedited shipping), and was exactly what we expected. Ordered a size up, and it will absolutely fit him next year. Jacket looks great, fits great, and will even be a great fleece or shell when it gets warmer.
