Great fit, comfortable. I typically wear a 4, and this size 4 fits perfectly. I bought the Rosewood color -- thick enough to not require a slip to prevent show-thru, but still a nice light weight for spring/summer. The buttons are a nice , slimming detail. Love the front pockets. I highly recommend this skirt.

I also had to send my normal size back and order up. Even that is a bit tight, but I'm keeping it. Nice fabric.

Nice skirt, but runs small. Had to buy the next size up & even so, was tight. Not sure yet if I will keep it.
Pros: pink linen skirt

I gave this skirt only 2 stars because I couldn't find a size to fit me. I bought the size 4 and 2 and sent them both back. Both were too big for me, and a dressmaker said the styling made it impossible to alter. I think the manufacturers are trying to flatter us with their sizing: I am definitely not a size 0! I love the skirt but could not keep it. I recommend this item to anyone who can fit into it!

I have been very pleased with the construction on all of my Signature pieces, and this is no exception. The fabric is high-quality, and the stitching is strong enough that I trust that no buttons will pop off anytime soon. I chose the rose color which I highly recommend. I am often between two sizes and chose the smaller of the two. Still, it was a bit big. Unless you like your skirts very low-on-the-hips, go a size down. Because it is loose and a little long (hits just below the knee instead of at the knee), I am careful to always wear it with a very fitted top so that it doesn't look frumpy.
The moral of the story: a nicely made skirt that—when worn with the right outfit—is very cute!

I was looking for a cute skirt for the summer and this fits the bill nicely. This skirt looks great and is nicely sliming. It is comfortable and I really like the material - it has a nice weight to it and the cotton-linen blend feels cool and fresh for the summer. In the first two pictures it looks like the shirt is longer than it is (at the knee) ... but I am 5' 8" and this skirt is definitely shorter than shown and above the knee (like the third picture of the girl in the boat). But I still really like this skirt and planning on ordering it in other colours as well. PS. Sale Pricing is an EXCELLENT DEAL for the quality of this skirt.

It is so hard to find a good white skirt that will not leave you constantly paranoid about whether or not everyone can see right through it. I assure you, the wonderful weight of this fabric will allay any fears you have. I also love the way it sits on the waist, that combined with the buttons on the front have a very slimming effect. I just received mine yesterday and tried it on but I cannot wait to wear it out to dinner! The casual but beautiful styling will make it perfect for those Friday night after work dates when you don't have the time or energy to get too dressed up but you still want to look great!

This skirt is of substantial weight, and it hangs very well without a slip underneath for hotter weather. I am between two sizes, depending on the cut, and the larger fit me perfectly!

I just got this skirt in white. I love it. Its unique without being too trendy. I have been looking without success for some dresses to wear this summer and finally decided to try skirts instead. This skirt is versatile as it goes with a lot of different kinds of tops.
The white is slightly off-white and I say this because I compared it next to a true white pair of pants that I have. For all purposes though it is still a white color just not as white of a shade as some summer colors.
I am normally a size 2 or 4. In LL Bean Signature I seem to run a larger size. So I ordered the size 4 which fits perfect. Not too lose and not tight. I would definitely recommend this skirt as a nice addition to a wardrobe, especially if you need a skirt that is a little different from the rest. I love LLBean Signature line. The Skirt is of a good quality too even though it is a lighter color - no see throughs here.

This fits beautifully. Rather than wear one of my expensive suits to an upcoming event, I'm wearing this with a nice jacket. It looks very professional. I'm ordering a 2nd color right now to teach in also.

This has already gone back. I tried getting it a little large, hoping it would hang down a little lower on my legs, because I had been hunting all season for a nice skirt for work. I love the grey "velvet" denim one I got from LLBean several seasons back, but it seems there is NOTHING available in a nice length any more.
